Pine Cone (Bagel Craft)

We didn't have any pine cones but we used bagels instead.

What you need:

1. Bagel
2. Peanut Butter
3. Bird Seed
4. String
5. Butter Knife or Plastic Knife
6. Paper Plates
   

What to do:

1. Take and push string through center hole in bagel.
2. Your using the string for your hanger.
   
3. Taking the knife spread peanut butter all over the bagel.
   
4. Make sure you spread peanut butter on thick so bird seed will stick
5. Next dump some bird seed onto the paper plates.
   
6. Lay your bagel in the bird seed and take handfuls and put it on top of the bagel.
   
7. Make sure bagel is covered with bird seed.
   
8. Take and hang in a tree.
   

Variation is to use pine cones and spread peanut butter all over the pine cones and then dip the pine cones in bird seed. Either way works.

Pet Rocks

How To Make This Craft

What you need:

• Small Rock
• Acrylic Paint
• Paint Brush
• Google Eyes
• Pipe Cleaner For Mouth
• You can also use feather's, glitter, sequins, and any other objects you choose
• Hot Glue Gun (Parents use only)
• Glue

What to do:

1. Take and paint the rock what ever colors you want
2. You can paint a face, make an animal, what ever your imagination can come up with
3. If glue does not work on making the eyes or the pipe cleaner stick, you can have your parents use the hot glue gun.

Small Bird Bath Craft

How To Make This Craft

What you need:

1. Small Clay Pot
2. Acrylic Paint
3. Paint Brush
4. Small Plastic Saucer or Clay Saucer
5. Hot Glue Gun (Parents Use Only)
6. Any Other Decorations

What to do:

1. Take the clay pot and turn it upside down so that the bottom is facing up.
   
2. Paint the clay pot any color you want and add decorations.
   
3. If using a clay saucer top you can paint the outside of the saucer, but do not paint the inside of the saucer. (Birds can become sick from the paint.)
4. The bottom of the saucer and the bottom of the clay pot need to be hot glued together. (Have your parents do this so you don't get hurt.)
5. Can use the bird bath outside with water in it or you can turn it into a bird feeder. Instead of putting water in it put bird seed in it.
